Microtab
Version 7 Microtab just got even better. Version 7 of our Windows based software has just been released. We have discarded the XP year designator for our software and switched to the more common version designator. Microtab Version 7 will continue to operate on multiple platforms - from Windows 95 through the not-yet-released Windows Vista operating system. Some great new enhancements have been developed. With this release a customer has lease options starting at less than $100 per station per month. The software still is available for outright purchase. Table format changes have been made for saving/importing from Office 2007's new format. You can now import a comma-delimited file and it can be of any length. We have revised the median calculations so that negative weights and reversed ordering are easily accommodated. You can optionally shade selected banner points or shade the space allocated between banner points to increase readability. The vertical shading will extend from the banner labels to the end of the table. A user can generate 999 row groupings in tables for value fields and print two additional stats (minimum and maximum values for every banner point). Many new options settings and additional features to speed the process of creating tables have also been added. However, the best way to fully appreciate the features of Microtab Version 7 is to download your own Evaluation Edition and try it for yourself.
This module enables automatic one-button-click table creation, including the setting of weights (to establish means) and the setting of statistical testing parameters (t-Tests and Z-Test) for your tables. Use
variable names to specify data location for consistency checks and
tabulation. Microtab is so easy to learn that training isn’t required
– but if you do have questions, you can use our free 24/7 support
included in our low price. We wouldn’t offer free 24/7 support if
Microtab required training. Extensive
statistical testing, including independent and dependent t-Tests, Z-Tests,
ANOVA, Repeated Measures ANOVA, Chi-Square testing as well as McNemar and
Cochran’s Q. Our Test Selection Matrix assists you in choosing the
correct procedure. Table
flexibility: You easily specify horizontal, vertical and diagonal
percentaging as well as horizontal and vertical indexing. Preview all your
generated output on screen before printing. Save all your previews
directly as a Word document or as a spreadsheet file. From Word save as an
*.html document for web publishing. Microtab has always offered Sample Balancing (true multivariate weighting) and nothing is easier to use or quicker to perform – and it always converges. |
